Close to 6 Full Months Pregnant

Wow! I can't beleive that I will be 6 months pregnant in two weeks! Note: See picture on right how my belly gets big for close to 6 full months pregnant. Kevin and I have about three months to go and are eagerly waiting to meet our baby girl. I am so glad that my first trimester was over because I had terrible morning sickness with dry heaves, nausea and vomiting everyday for two whole months. I am now on second trimester (last month of this month) and feel much better with no morning sickness. Whew. Kevin has been wonderful husband by helping me a lot all of these months with cooking, cleaning, and errands for me! I don't know what I could do without my best and wonderful husband, Kevin!

So far, our baby girl and I are doing well. Sometimes, I have no energy, often pain on each side from stretching the pelvis, and often lack of sleep. Our baby girl moves around by kicking and hands stretch constantly that I can feel. Kevin can feel it, and he absoluately loves it! He keeps telling our girl to move more. Recently, I think our baby girl has started hiccupping, but it is hard to tell if it is hiccup or not. The reason I think hiccup is because the rhythms show same repeat in same spot, unlikely movement. I might be wrong but who knows. :-D

People have asked us what we will name our baby girl. We are planning to name our baby girl, GABRIELLA. We haven't decided on her middle name yet, and it is very difficult to choose. Kevin and I are working on it. After our baby is born, we will make an annoucement with officially name for our girl.

At Kevin's parents' 40th Anniversary party at their house, our families wanted us to make lists with their guess about our baby such as sex, date of birth, and weight. Some of you asked us what your guess was that we wrote it down on paper since you forgot. You can see it yourself the chart following below. As you all know that we already annouced that we are going to have a baby girl. The list we don't have is Dan, Sue, Marta, and Charlie. Dan & Sue: we know you told us in FL that we are going to have a baby girl. We forgot your guess of date of born and weight that we didn't write it down (SORRY). Please can you tell us again in our Blog comment. Charlie & Marta: we don't remember if you have told us your guess. If you knew it was girl, then can you please tell us your guess of date of born and weight in our blog comment. Sorry again. Forgive us! :-( Once I get your comments from our blog, I will add it on the list later in our blog. Here is the list of people's guess for our baby for now.

Il Fornaio

Last Thursday, Kevin and I went out dinner with Dan (Kevin's brother) at Il Fornaio Restaurant. Dan flew to Seattle on a business trip for a few days. It was wonderful seeing him again since December in Florida. We had a good time.

Afterward, we went to Dan's hotel to chill out. Before we went to hotel, Dan and Kevin tried to tempted to go to Cold Stone to get ice cream. Thanks a lot to them! We went there to get ice cream. We all were so full from eating ice cream since it's huge! We ate ice cream while walking to Dan's hotel. Dan had a little "baby shower" gifts for me and Kevin from Dan and his family in California since we will not have a formal baby shower. It was so generous and kind of them to give us all of these gifts! Pictures following below:

Sue mentioned in card about sweater (picture above) that Mom Morge's friend gave her when she had it with Elizabeth or Doni. Mom Morge gave it to Sue when she had first baby with Daniel. Now, she gave it to me on my first baby.

Ultrasound

Yesterday, January 4th, 2008, Kevin and I had an ultrasound appointment. I am now 21 weeks pregnant. We were very excited and were looking forward to see how our baby is doing. Also, we had been waiting too long to find out what our baby gender will be. During the ultrasound, it was so incrediable and beyond awesome to see our baby on tv! It was unbelievable how much our baby has been grown since the last ultrasound we had when I was 12 weeks pregnant.

Technician stated that our baby was moving around a lot and wouldn't stay while she was looking for all organs and body to measure and identified to make sure they are normal. Our baby was kicking, hitting, yawning, and flipping around a lot! The most difficult for Technician to measure was our baby scalp since baby's head was moving around a lot and wouldn't stay put. While Technician was looking for baby's heart to idenify four chambers, arota, artery, etc.; the baby's arms were in the way. Technician had to push my belly to make baby moving so it's arms can get out of heart's way. We were laughing and were very glad to know that our baby is doing well! After the ultrasound, the Technician went to get Radiologist who can identify our baby with any problems/measurement. Once we listened to her, she said that our baby is doing great and didn't see any problems with our baby at this time. Everything with our baby was normal.

Now, Kevin and I had been waiting to find out what our baby gender will, and the answer is: IT'S A GIRL!!!!! Most of you were right that we are going to have a baby girl. Sorry to a few of you who think we will have a baby boy. Try again next time. (wink) Here are three pictures of our beautiful baby Girl below:

On Monday, January 7th, we will have an appt with my OB Doctor about our Ultrasound report to discuss it. We will wait to hear from my OB Doctor and find out how many weeks am I. That is because the Radiologist mentioned that I am 23 weeks pregnant due to our baby measurement and development so far. All I know is that I am current 21 weeks pregnant. However, we will find out from my OB Doctor and see what she will say about it.

Continue from Orlando, Florida

On Friday, December 29th, All Morge families were going to Epcot and other parks except me. As I mentioned from previous Blog, I didn't go because I was not feeling well. I was sick with cold, sore throat, and little cough. Also, my feet were swollen. I decided to stay in resort to rest for the day while I let Kevin go to enjoy attending Epcot with Cousin Brian, Cousin Sue with two sons, Kavin & Tyler. Also, they met with other Morge Families around in the park. Kevin had a good time. Afterward, I met with Morge Families to out dinner at Planet Hollywood. Kevin told me all the story about these countries Epcot displayed. Pictures following below:

Orlando, Florida

On Monday, December 31st, Kevin and I finally got home from our vacation in Orlando, Florida for the Morge Families from December 26-31. We were exhausted and had a lot of things to do around our apartment and erranded to do. Afterward, we had a chance to sit and relax from a long month of December in Peoria, IL and Orlando, FL. Since Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Holidays are over, we are back to our normal routine.

However, it was so beautiful warm and sunny in Orlando. It was great seeing all families in Orlando for vacation. Also, it was wonderful to see Aunt Paula and Cousin Brian who drove up to see all of us from Miami. Later in a few days, other Cousin Sue with two sons, Kavin & Tyler, who drove up to visit us from the West Palm Beach area. We had a good time to look around the Walt Disney properties with the view of variety of parks while we went to other places with some of the Morge Families. Some of the Morge Families attended Magic Kingdon, Epcot, etc. So far, I hadn't been to these parks because I was not able to ride any roller coast due to my pregnancy. Yeah... it was not fun part for me but I enjoyed seeing other places. The last few days, I was sick with cold, throat sore, and little cough. Also, my feet were swollen from flight and walk a lot daily.

All of these days, there were many plans to arrange to discuss about going to place to place such as men going for golf, women for lunch, shop at Walt Disney Downtown, families dinner at resort and restaurants, toured all view of parks, etc. Enjoy looking at all of these pictures what we all had done in Orlando.

Kevin & Niece Emily

Friend Reunion

On Thursday, December 13th, Kevin and I went out to One World Restaurant in Peoria with Stephanie and her husband, Walter. Stephanie is my friend who I hadn't seen for about over two years since our wedding. It was really wonderful to see her again. We all talked to catch up with our lives from over the past two years.

What a coincidence about both of us that we are about three weeks apart from our babies due! Mine is due on May 11th, and she is due at the end of May. The next time we see each other again will be fun to have our babies meeting.
